Here at Ground Flor in San Francisco, we bake fresh focaccia, arrange seasonal blooms, and pour coffee with intention — all from our little window to the street. Come by for a loaf, a bundle, or a cup, and leave with something lovely in hand.

We serve two types of “flor” from our cozy window café: flour in the form of focaccia bread & flowers in our seasonal floral arrangements. Either can be paired with a fresh brewed cup of coffee. Whether it’s a warm loaf, a joyful bundle, or just a quick hello, everything we make is meant to brighten your table — and your day.
Grounded in good taste
Our name is a little layered — and that’s just how we like it.
Ground Flor began on the (pun intended) ground floor of a San Francisco Victorian, with a love for simple pleasures: bread, blooms, and a really good cup of coffee.
Flor means flower in Spanish, and it’s also the flour in our focaccia. Ground honors the origins of our coffee beans and bread flour. Together, the name is a quiet nod to the everyday things that nourish us, body and soul.
We believe good taste can be humble, homemade, and handed to you right through a sunny little window.
How it works
On the 25th of every month, friends of Ground Flor will receive The Florcast newsletter announcing that month’s seasonal focaccia topping and floral color palette. You have until the last day of the month to preorder your selection: focaccia or florals or our signature combo “The Full Flor” which has both! Your order will be available for pick up the 2nd weekend of the month. When picking up your items, treat yourself to a fresh brewed cup of coffee from our window café.
Wanna set it and flor-get it? Become a Florist with our monthly subscription program where you will automatically receive that month’s seasonal focaccia and floral arrangement and can pick it up on your preselected pickup day.
